Session Proposals Due 7/31/2026 October 2, 2026 at 2112/Center for Creative Entrepreneurship – 4245 N Knox Ave, Chicago Lawyers for the Creative Arts is hosting a Music & Band Law Conference on October 2, 2026 at 2112/Center for Creative Entrepreneurship in Chicago. Bringing together musicians, band managers, and attorneys, this conference will offer valuable networking opportunities and in-depth educational sessions focused on the legal and business issues bands face today. The conference will feature sessions designed for practicing musicians as well as programming for attorneys (with pending IL CLE), covering key topics relevant to bands, such as formation, contracts, intellectual property, touring, revenue streams, and dispute prevention. Attendees will also have the opportunity to connect with industry professionals during a reception following the educational sessions. Conference session proposals are due July 31, 2026.
