About the Program: 

Join us for an informational program about legal issues in the arts at The Digs! 

Learn more about Lawyers for the Creative Arts, the legal service organization in Illinois that supports artists and arts organizations through pro bono legal representation, free and low-cost educational programs, and more. Attorney Beau Reeves will share key insights on a range of legal topics that artists engage with regularly, including intellectual property, business formation, contracts, and more, and will take your questions. 

About the Speaker: 

Beau Reeves is a member of LCA’s Associate Board and holds a J.D. from DePaul University College of Law and a Bachelor of Science in Information Science and Technology from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. He is licensed to practice law in Illinois and passed the Uniform Bar Exam with a score qualifying him to practice in any UBE jurisdiction. He has a strong passion for litigation and takes pride in advocating for his clients, guiding them through the legal process, and working toward meaningful outcomes on their behalf. He is also particularly interested in the intersection of law and technology, including intellectual property and data-related issues. With a strong work ethic and commitment to continuous learning, he is focused on expanding his litigation skills while developing expertise in these evolving areas of law.
