LCA is the only Illinois provider of pro bono legal services to individuals and organizations in all areas of the arts. We are the “go to” resource for the crucial advice and help artists need, but cannot afford. Since 1972, we have organized and assisted all forms of businesses, provided advice regarding contracts, copyrights and trademarks, and helped resolve disputes. Our educational programs continue to grow.

We have a very small staff, and our financial resources are always stretched thin.
